Disability Services - Include Audio Books, Catalog Assistance (for placing reserves, holding material), DVS Videos, Handicapped accessible building and computers, Large print books, Reference questions answered in person, by telephone or email, and a TDD machine.

Interlibrary Loan - Pollard Memorial Library is a member of the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) which is an alliance of over 30 public libraries serving the Greater Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts. MVLC cards may be used at any public library in the consortium. In addition, PML is part of the Massachusetts Library System, which gives our patrons access not only to our collection, but to virtually every library collection in the state.
Rent-A-Bestseller - Are you tired of waiting for that hot new book or DVD? The rental fee for books is only $1.00
for the first week and $.25/day for each day after. The DVD rental fee is $2.00 for the first week and $1.00/day for each day after. There are no reserves
or renewals on these copies of bestsellers. Check them out and pay the rental fee at
the circulation desk. The Rental Collection
is located on the first floor near the Circulation Desk.
Tax Forms & Tax Assistance - Many common Federal Income Tax forms are available on the first floor of the library starting in January. Other Federal forms are available online at www.irs.gov. There are also reproducible forms at the reference desk on the second floor of the library. In addition, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Income Tax forms are available on the first floor of the library. Other state forms and all state tax form instructions are available online at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue website. All forms are available while supplies last. In 2011, a volunteer from AARP will offer free tax assistance by appointment on Thursdays, February 3rd thru April 14th. Please call (978) 970-4120 to make an appointment.
