Angle Moran is in trouble. Her daddy is in jail, her mama has disappeared, and her great-grandma needs a mother almost more than she does. Angel's only breaks from constant worry are her midnight visits to the pasture behind her great-grandmother's house where the mysterious Star Man lets her look through his telescope and teaches her about astronomy. Wonderful characterization and glorious prose make this book one to rejoice over.
